This domestic scene is detailed and thoughtfully put together with flowers from the garden, a decorative vase, and textiles. There are other decorative objects nearby that peek into the scene. The flowers are wild and natural and seem free, even though partially confined. I liked that the natural subject of this composition remained uncontrollable and unpredictable in its patterning. It presents a different kind of beauty from that of the manufactured and hand-crafted objects within its immediate environment.
